1. Who We Are

Yoss.gg is operated by Soron LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Yoss.gg provides a front-end interface to a non-custodial smart contract on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Yoss.gg website, mobile application, and related services (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in, we collect the information you provide through our authentication provider (Privy): your email address or social login identifier. We do not collect passwords.

Wallet Information

When you create an account, a smart account (wallet) is automatically generated for you by Privy. We store your public wallet address to facilitate game matching and display. We do not have access to your private keys — key material is managed by Privy using secure enclaves and is never exposed to Yoss.gg.

Transaction Data

We record game history (participants, wager amounts, outcomes, timestamps) in our database for leaderboards, game history, and analytics. All game transactions also occur on the Base blockchain, which is a public, permanent ledger. On-chain transaction data is publicly visible and cannot be deleted by anyone.

Usage Data

We collect standard usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and session duration. This data is used to improve the Service and diagnose technical issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and provide the Service (matchmaking, game resolution, wallet display)
  • To display leaderboards, game history, and player profiles
  • To communicate with you about your account or the Service
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To improve and develop the Service

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Privy (privy.io) — Authentication and embedded wallet infrastructure. Privy manages your login credentials and wallet key material. See Privy's Privacy Policy.
  • MoonPay — Fiat-to-crypto onramp (Apple Pay, card purchases). MoonPay processes payment information directly; we do not receive or store your payment card details. See MoonPay's Privacy Policy.
  • Coinbase — Alternative fiat onramp and offramp. Coinbase processes transactions directly. See Coinbase's Privacy Policy.
  • Transak — Alternative offramp for cashing out. See Transak's Privacy Policy.
  • Pimlico — Smart account infrastructure (gas sponsorship, bundler). Pimlico processes transaction relay data.
  • Base (Coinbase L2) — All game transactions settle on the Base blockchain. Transaction data on Base is public and permanent.

5. Blockchain Data

Yoss.gg operates on the Base blockchain. By using the Service, you acknowledge that blockchain transactions are:

  • Public — Anyone can view transaction details, wallet addresses, and game outcomes on-chain.
  • Permanent — Blockchain data cannot be modified or deleted by anyone, including Yoss.gg.
  • Pseudonymous — Transactions are linked to wallet addresses, not directly to your real-world identity.

We cannot fulfill deletion requests for data recorded on the blockchain. We can delete off-chain data associated with your account (see Section 8).

6. Data Retention

We retain account and game history data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, compliance, and operational purposes. Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls. Wallet key material is managed by Privy using secure hardware enclaves and is never accessible to Yoss.gg. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your off-chain data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, our legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (operating the Service) and, where applicable, your consent. You have additional rights under GDPR as listed above. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication, session management, and remembering your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage patterns.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
