Yoss.gg is a peer-to-peer USDC coin flip game on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. Two players wager equal USDC. A coin is flipped. The winner takes the entire pot. There is no house edge and no fees.
How does a coin flip work?
Pick heads or tails, choose a wager ($1–$100 USDC), and get matched with an opponent. Both sides lock equal USDC in a smart contract. Both choices are revealed on-chain and the winner is paid out instantly.
Is Yoss.gg provably fair?
Yes. Yoss.gg uses a commit-reveal scheme: both players commit their choice cryptographically before either reveals. This makes it mathematically impossible for either side to cheat. All game logic runs on Base and every outcome is verifiable on-chain.
What does zero rake mean?
Zero rake means Yoss.gg takes no cut from any game. If two players each wager $10, the winner receives the full $20. Most gambling platforms take 1–10% — Yoss.gg takes 0%.
Is Yoss.gg non-custodial?
Yes. Your funds are held by a smart contract on Base, not by Yoss.gg. We never have access to your USDC. You can deposit and withdraw at any time directly from your smart account.
Do I need a crypto wallet to play?
No. You can sign in with just an email address. Yoss.gg creates a smart account for you behind the scenes that handles gas fees automatically. No browser extension, no ETH, and no seed phrase required.
What is USDC?
USDC is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, issued by Circle. It runs on multiple blockchains including Base. Using USDC means your wager value stays stable — $10 in is $10 out.
What is Base?
Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 network built by Coinbase. It offers fast transactions and very low gas fees (fractions of a cent), making it ideal for real-time games like coin flips.
How do I deposit USDC?
After signing in, go to your Wallet page. You can deposit USDC from any wallet on Base, or buy USDC directly with a card through the built-in onramp.
Can I play against a friend?
Yes. You can create a private challenge link and send it to anyone. When they open the link and accept, the coin flip starts between just the two of you.
How fast are payouts?
Instant. Once both sides are revealed, the smart contract pays the winner in the same transaction. There is no waiting period or manual withdrawal process.
Is there a minimum or maximum bet?
The minimum wager is $1 USDC and the maximum is $100 USDC. Available tiers are $1, $5, $10, $25, and $100.
